ClayPaint
ClayPaint is a matt, mineral-based and highly eco-friendly paint for walls and ceilings, which contributes to the natural comfort of the home. Clay paint adds decorative value thanks to its soft colours, the way it catches the light and the various application techniques. It is equally suited to renovation projects and to contemporary, sustainable interiors.
Textures
An authentic lime wash texture, with subtle shades and a matt, vibrant finish. The natural brushstrokes give each wall a unique character. The final appearance depends on the applicator’s technique. As mineral finishes are applied by hand and depend on the substrate, the technique used and the lighting, we always recommend having a sample produced in advance to properly assess the desired final result. The images provide a representative idea of the possible textures, but are for illustrative purposes only.
ClayPaint is applied using a lime brush or a 5 mm felt roller. To prepare the paint, you will also need a mechanical mixer (mixing bowl), water and Stoopen & Meeus powdered pigments. If the substrate has uneven absorbency, Uniwall Fix and Uniwall Primer NF-21 must also be used as part of the preparation process.
Clay sourced from European soil, which has not been fired or chemically treated. The paint is therefore particularly environmentally friendly and fully recyclable.
This product is not intended to form a film; protection and installation of the system are carried out using a suitable primer and in accordance with the application steps set out in the technical data sheet.
Always carry out representative tests beforehand.
Suitable for all mineral substrates, old paint layers, wood, MDF, metal, etc., provided the substrate is sufficiently stable.
ClayPaint is, by nature, completely water-soluble; once dry, it remains water-sensitive and must therefore never be applied in damp rooms or on damp walls.
For the best results, professional expertise is essential.
