Project information
In this house, cooking, eating and relaxing flow naturally into one another. The open-plan kitchen forms the heart of the space, the fireplace provides a counterbalance, and the bespoke furniture brings the whole space together. During the day, light floods deep into the house. In the evening, the fireplace takes over. Alongside the open-plan kitchen, the sitting area also occupies a clearly defined place within the overall layout. Not as a separate nook, but as the logical extension of the living space.
An interior that combines warmth and character
The corridors have also been incorporated into the design. Not as mere passageways to be hurried through, but as an integral part of the whole. Lime wash, dark wood, touches of bronze and steel and glass doors are subtly echoed throughout. As a result, the house maintains a consistent aesthetic, without everything being literally identical. The hall sets the tone for what follows: a summer lounge with more character, a cosier atmosphere and an energy quite different from that of the living area.
