Kana Objects
Kana Objects was founded by Inge Lagae and creates handmade furniture in Belgium, using natural materials as its foundation. The designs are inspired by travels and cultures from around the world, and combine timeless craftsmanship with a personal touch. Custom pieces are available, tailored to the specific needs of each project.
The Kana collection is characterized by clean lines, bringing together hand-brushed veneer, solid oak, hand-crafted solid wood, and natural stone.
Craftsmanship as a canvas
The showroom is located in Mechelen and offers an intimate setting to experience the collection as it was intended: to touch it and live with it. It is open to architects, interior designers, and their clients, as well as to private individuals looking for exceptional furniture—whether custom-designed or selected from the collection.
In this space, where furniture takes center stage, our products also found a place. The floor is finished in Stucresin (colors Rambla & Jute)—a subtle, earthy base that lets the furniture collection speak for itself without overpowering it. The various walls were finished with Zablon (colors Enamel 2.5% & Jute) or Crustal (Enamel 2.5%)—two textures that complement each other and give the space a layered, tactile depth.
The result is an interior where materials and furniture enhance one another: our decorative techniques form the backdrop against which the Kana Objects collection comes to life, and—just like the furniture itself—invite you to touch and experience them.
